Short Bio

Chris has been in the sustainable finance and renewables industry for over fifteen years. His career in sustainable finance started following ten years in corporate and institutional banking when he became Head of Group Sustainability for Standard Chartered in London. He left the City in 2007 following a secondment by Standard Chartered to work at Clarence House where he was Chief Operating Officer of The Princes Rainforest Project and an Advisor to HRH’s Offices and Household. He is a Director and Founder of boutique renewables advisory and development firm Power Capital Partners – which focuses on delivering solar PV projects in the UK and in the emerging markets. Power Capital Partners have originated and developed over 100MW of solar generation in the UK in the residential and commercial sectors and at a utility scale. The firm is also developing projects in India and in a number of African countries. Chris is on the investment banking advisory team at the Global Commons Investment Bank and has sat on a range of advisory boards during his career including currently serving on the board of Arc – a social enterprise focused charity.
